Our Patents

Cebeline®

Repairing active ingredient of the Dermo-Epidermal Junction:

Cebeline® is the result of a collaboration with Dr. Patricia Rousselle, an eminent specialist in laminins. This research focused on skin healing, in particular on the role of the LN-5 protein in maintaining skin cohesion.

Cebeline® is the result of the isolation of the active fragment of LN-5, a crucial protein of the dermo-epidermal junction. This peptide, present in Cebeline®, promotes the adhesion of keratinocytes and contributes to skin repair. Thanks to its small size and stability, it can pass through the epidermis and act on cells, strengthening cellular adhesion to the extracellular matrix. This patented active ingredient promotes skin restructuring and repair.

Pekaline®

Patented Depigmenting Active:

Pekaline® is a patented active ingredient which was developed in partnership with Doctor Robert Ballotti and Professor Jean-Paul Ortonne, two renowned dermatologists. Pekaline® targets melanogenesis, the process of melanin production responsible for skin pigmentation.

Pekaline® works in two ways: it inhibits protein kinase A (PKA), thereby blocking melanin synthesis, and it changes intracellular pH, which inhibits melanogenesis. This dual action helps reduce melanin in cells significantly, thus reducing skin hyperpigmentation.

Cebeline® and Pekaline® are patented active ingredients used in our products to promote skin repair and fight hyperpigmentation. These active ingredients have been developed by dermatology experts and are at the heart of our formulations to offer you high quality care.
